through the lens of complexity
The Agile Wallaby is a continual learning vehicle for exploring the evolving landscape of organizational agility from a human systems perspective. The content is expanding and evolving as ideas emerge to address the complex problems associated with moving at digital speed. This is one padawan's story using digital art as a vehicle for exploring the highways and byways of organizational agility viewed from a complex adaptive systems lens. One where language is key, but context is king. The images created in this collection become a vehicle for exploring heuristics that draws upon Cynefin (a sense-making framework), OODA cycle, Wardley mapping, Design Thinking, and Digital Product Management practices. Each image becomes an entry point for exploring the language as it relates to agile transformation. This collection is meant to challenge the way viewers look at agility by viewing it from a human systems perspective.
Images available for purchase can be found in the Gallery View. Each purchase is used for further exploration into organizational agility from a complex adaptive systems perspective. These images are part of a three part digital images series titled; "The Art of Language in a White Water World". Each image takes the concepts and ideas, the language, and uses them as prompts for creating each work of art.
A theory informed practices approach to achieving the agility needed to be relevant in the 21st century. This concept evolved through exploring the work of many in the field of complexity. What emerged is not a framework or method with roles and ceremonies. It is a “scaffolding" approach that stimulates a change in the habits needed to navigate the landscape of complexity. This human systems approach to agility is called Anthro-Digital DNA. It is organic in nature with three core elements.
framework for digital product management
and narratives for collaborating and
connecting leaders and contributors with customers
through continual lean agile learning
Anthro-Digital DNA scaffolding is theory informed practices using heuristics that draws upon Cynefin (sense-making framework), OODA cycle, Wardley mapping, Design Thinking, and Digital Product Management theory.
